To celebrate Independence Day, we decided to test the Melement with a drive out to Yosemite!

14 hour drive roundtrip
doubled the miles on the car!
We wanted to stay here....
But we ended up here (Wawona Campground)...
Bears are a HUGE problem here. All food and anything remotely pungent had to be put in these lockers at your campsite. You could get in big BIG trouble if you didn't do that. In fact, if you left food in your car, bears may break in! We didn't want any bears scratching our new car!
In fact, during one of our nights in the park, Dave heard one snuffling near our tent! Eeek!

That's AWESOME! I L-O-V-E Yosemite. There is so much to see. Needless to say, I'm a bit jealous.
